Elise Searson

From radio, to Newspaper, then onto the biggest story of her life, motherhood. Elise strives to find the authentic narrative among the chaos, by going beyond the headline. Coupling photography and journalism was a natural progression in Elise’s media career. With her latest venture, ‘The Story’, focusing on free, independent and ethically researched story telling, the idea was born with her partner, Manu, while living under the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions. Story ideas were flowing with no platform for publishing and the decision to make, ‘The Story’, a not for profit, set the couple free from the mirky waters of commercial restraints, thus allowing space to operate with an ethical conscience. With well over two decades of experience between them, Elise and Manu, intend to play their part as responsible social citizens and hope that the success of, ‘The Story’, will enable them to one day giveback to society. Elise currently contributes for MAMAMIA.COM.AU and wakes up in the early hours of the morning to read the news for the Capital Radio Network. While also working on a micro communications business with Manu, KAASH & KAASH.
